Wellbeing

In our house, we have always understood that the emotional wellbeing of our Smilers needs to be a priority.

Smiler 1 and Smiler 2 experience varying degrees of anxiety, which is considered relatively common for those who have ASD.

We are constantly tuned into changes in behaviour and mood as their expression and understanding of their feelings is something they find difficult.

We have recently raised our wellbeing input through the use of themed video clips of an animated character called Mojo (https://ideas.classdojo.com), related books and then some worksheets that we have produced.

Our 3 Smilers have engaged in their project to varying levels.

But they all seem to get something out of it.
